Earle Abrahamson is an internationally published author, scholar, registered therapist, psychologist, educator and teaching fellow.  Born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa, Earle gained qualifications and expertise in physical education, sports therapy, clinical psychology and educational practices. 

Earle has extensive experience in sports massage therapy and was part of the Gamesmaker medical team for the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympic Games. Internationally, he has presented his work on teaching and learning practices, reasoning development, feedback and assessment, sports rehabilitation and sports psychology at major conferences. He currently co-chairs the International Society for the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (ISSOTL) a multinational teaching fellows group. He is a fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine, graduate member of the British Psychological Society (BPS), member of the British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences (BASES), served as student liaison officer for the British Association of Sports Rehabilitators and Trainers (BASRaT) and received the honour and status of senior practitioner in sports therapy with the British Register of Complementary Practitioners (BRCP).   He is a fellow of the ICNM and received the outstanding contribution to complementary medicine award in 2012. Earle sits on the CNHC massage PSB (Profession Specific Board) and is the chair of the Massage Training Institute (MTI)

Earle has a passion for both teaching and clinical practice and has used and studied a wide range of techniques and teaching pedagogies. Earle is employed as a legal officer at the University of East London, where he advises senior managers and staff on governance and compliance issues.
