British Association of Sports Rehabilitation and Trainers

BASRaT is the UK regulator for Sport Rehabilitation Graduates. The BASRaT register has been approved as an Accredited Register by the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care.


Bowen Therapy Professional Association

BTPA is an autonomous non profit-making organisation run by Bowen Therapists for Bowen Therapists. The association provides a Constitution, Ethics and Code of Practice to help our members work professionally. BTPA assesses and accredits new courses for members' Continual Professional Development (CPD).

National Association of Massage and Manipulative Therapists

Trading as the National Association of Massage & Manipulative Therapists is a "Not for Profit" Professional Association (NAMMT) founded by Mr. Eddie Caldwell, former principal of the Northern Institute of Massage and other professional Massage and Manipulative Therapists to represent the interests of professional therapists.


The Association for Soft Tissue Therapists

The Association for Soft Tissue Therapists (SMA), formerly known as the Sports Massage Association, establishes and maintains minimum standards for sports massage training, giving confidence to all that Soft Tissue Therapists are suitably trained to provide a quality service.

Scottish Massage Therapists Organisation

The Scottish Massage Therapists Organisation (SMTO) was formed in 1992 and exists to provide a service to the public, the Massage Therapist and the profession and works with the GCMT in developing and maintaining standards, and has been approved by the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) as a verifying organisation.
