The Work of the Mental Health Group

To support the work of the GCMT, the Mental Health Group, one of six task and finishing groups, has been established.

The Mental Health Group aids the promotion of mental health within a soft tissue specific scope of practice, develops resources and policy on mental health awareness and guidance including resources on equality diversity and inclusion.

Members of the Mental Health Group: Gina Lilley, Craig Foden, Lindsey Nicholas, Sue Frazer, Jennie Parke Matheson, and Tina Friis.

Objectives:

Develop resources around mental health for soft tissue therapy.

Promote EDI through policy and resources.

Collate research evidence on mental health and soft tissue therapies.

Develop appropriate campaigns and projects around mental health.
